michael & i have been talking about starting more of our family traditions this year for Christmas. we want to serve the poor on Christmas day, have an advent calendar, only buy one small gift for each other, etc.

Thanks al for the advent resources...I have been lookin this mornin at a few and have some ideas. I really want to do one this year for our family it would be our first =)
We have been using an old felt advent calender my husband's sister made when she was younger. It has little pockets in it in which we put different things each year. Last year we did little candy treats and homemade redeemable chore coupons. Its fun and we just pick odds or evens. I am thinking about making our own this year though!
