i try to do all this in my own strength. lately i haven't been getting time with the Lord in His Word. i can't do it apart from Him. I NEED HIM!
loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle & self-controlled.
...i want so much to be all of these things, but without His grace & strength my efforts are empty. time in His Word should be my first priority!

For a while my husband and I were getting up early before work to read the Bible and pray. It was a great way to start the day but we've slacked off in the past while. We'll have to start again!

i have 2 little boys that demand much of my time. i may not always be able to find large amounts of time to study the Word, but i make sure i pick one verse everyday that i write on a notecard and carry around with me. it becomes my theme for the day and the Lord always uses it for His glory and my good.

Beautiful photos. I too find it hard to make time for God in the day - it's just too easy as a mum to get caught up in the day to day stuff, then by the end of the day when everyone's asleep, that's what I want to be doing too! Lately I've started praying in the car - just short prayers, as they pop into my head aloud while driving. Baby steps... :)

It is really hard to do anything in a day without going to Him for strength and guidance, especially when you are responsible for others! Love these shots!!
