it's quite overwhelming thinking about what a big responsibility it is to teach our children everything they need to know. i guess the same is true about raising them & training their hearts & pointing them to Christ. that's why, as parents, we just have to do what the Lord leads us to do & trust that He is in control.

I am pretty sure we are going to start using Charlotte Mason next year. At first I was a little confused about how to build the curriculum and lesson plans, but SimplyCharlotteMason.com pretty much solved that problem. I am currently reading the book "When Children Love to Learn - A Practical Application of Charlotte Mason's Philosophy for Today." I hope you get to go to the conference!
